Thursday evening or Friday morning diatribe………….

To give a glimpse of my personal life of the NFL guru of picks….um Glenlievt 12, 15 and 18!!! Stay away from the 16 the Nadura is a tough pour.

While my wife is a the Janet Jackson concert I proceed to a more masculine activity burgers and scotch at Gibson…..without getting to indepth in my unearthly idiocy..I have but only one question…Pete how does your #1 Team lose to a unranked team in Orgren state obviously you and USC did not learn anything from Standford…The BCS computers are in a frenzy now

Matt Millen thanks but no thanks its about time the pink slip was delivered. No need to worry Lions fan you have no chance even next year

By the way kudos to my 49ers they are actually doing something that a teenager wants to do their scoring!!!

Cowboys….not very impressive against the Pack, but 3-0 never the less

Brady Quinn can you come out and play?

Miami nice game against the Pat’s laying the tuna on them…..but can you follow up

Trent Green how does it feel playing for the Ram’s again, O wait a minute we will wait til after the game make sure you don’t get your head knocked off

Lane Kiffen…continue the pursuit of mediocrity !!!

Indy, hang it ten its over

Last week I was 12 out of 16, I am to tanked to figure out this percentage

The great team chooser any team who is giving 4 ½ - 6 they will cover the spread in week 4

 I Hope   -G

Wow Gordo.  What I hope is that you don't have alcohol poisoning...  -d

To all my loyal fans who live on my every word, my quietness shall no longer be unencumbered….

Thus far this NFL season has had more twists and turns than a Daytime Soap Opera

Going on the 3rd week of the season we have some surprises and not some surprises.

The big game of week 3 has to be the Cowboys and Packers…..both have similar stories, but only one will lose tomorrow night. While both teams show an impressive ability to score I have to give the Good Ol’boys their due ROMO and TO is too much. That is the difference maker, so I will going with Damon and the Boys on this game.

Patriots, No Tom Brady…well that’s okay they have defense and a QB that can follow a game plan with the best of them. I don’t see them stumbling tomorrow so I will go with team Belichek.

The Denver Broncos, unloaded on a sorely inadequate team in the Raiders on week one, and thru an ego maniacal call from Shanahon  go for 2 and beat the Chargers in the last seconds of the 4th. Denver Post please send Ed Hochuli a seasoned NFL ref a bloom of roses, or better yet tell big John he has been replaced for the comeback kid moniker.

Which brings me to the Charges who on tomorrow or today when you read this fine editorial will find themselves playing Brett Favre and the Jets. No surprise who wins this contest. The Chargers…sorry Brett…maybe you should have waited a little longer you could be throwing to MOSS right now.

My 49ers and Mike Martz, a mixture for true romance or disaster. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w94dZtKXaaE&feature=related okay I digressed here. Since Tim Rattay no S.F. QB has thrown for a 300 yard game in awhile. Maybe the magic continues. Speaking of magic get aload of this http://www.magicjack.com/1/index.asp I actually know someone who spent $19.95 on this and they claim it works. So much for the Ron Propeil spray on hair do.

Some surprises this year as well what's up with Indy and Manning and Harrison?

My 1st of week of prognostication was albeit terrible….  5 out of 16 than this past weekend I tie with another player but lose on the Tie Breaker unreal..

So to change things up this year I say the home teams will be victorious than the visiting teams…

For the gamers out their what would you buy

The XBOX, WII, or PS3….I.m trying to solve this dilemma.

Well, Gordo- any hard core zit covered dork that live in his moms garage/basement will probably tell you xbox.  Personally, not having a lot of time to play, when I do, I want something a little more entertaining.  So, I vote wii.  And yes, the magicjack does everything just like the web site says.  Only drawback is that you may not be able to get and area code in your area.  But, I care not, and having voicemail emailed to me rocks your candy ass.

July 19, 2008 Well, here we are; off and running toward a new season.  It's 90 degrees out.  Hard to believe that preseason football is just a couple weeks away.

The NFL off season was entertaining as usual, but not quite as entertaining as Gordo's drunken exploits.  Without further a do...  -d

Gordo:

Welcome back my fellow nfl fans
Gordo the glenlievt man is back for more humor and prognostication up to the super bowl

1st allow me to put the brett favre situation in prospective the nfl with the exception of brady peyton rivers theirs not much of a choice. Favre has beaten my niners on multiple occasions but his cowboy playing diplomacy let him play.

Now back to having a cocktail
-richard

Well, insightful as always.  I'm just not sure what sort of sight it is.  Train wreck maybe?  Just kidding Gordo.  I just have to make a little addendum here.  This season you may see Gordo referring to himself as "Richard".   Sometimes we call him "Dick" too.  Go figure.  Gordo's new alter ego - Richard, was born at last years superbowl party.  So rest assured, it's the same guy.  Sort of... -d
